Antique French Gothic Revival Scallop Motif Chenets/Andirons (Pair). The trade of fine blacksmithing is rare and expensive today. To produce hearth accessories like these was a difficult task for even the very best. This pair of andirons was made in the latter part of the 19th century when Victorians celebrated bygone eras. It was the age of the Great Revivals, bringing back lovely designs from the past, with a Victorian flare. Ours are completely hand-forged, and they would look fantastic facing up your fireplace, whether casual or formal. While many like these require re-soldering, ours are in fine condition and ready to use.
