Antique French Iron Fire Screen, 19th Century with Fleur de Lis pattern.  This 19th century iron and sheet metal fire screen hails from France.  It has shielded flames for many generations.  The overall condition is excellent though the surface has pitted over time, and a few areas have worn through.  Fleur de lis and rivoting decorate the hand forged surface. Slight imperfections are insignificant due to the rarity of this precious accessory.  The style is more Regency than Tudor, but it would work in either scheme.  Decorators find your own special uses for this gem!  The perfect way to decorate your fireplace when logs are not burning.
