This oppulent necklace could as easily grace the neck of Nefertiti as it could a CHURCHILL client.  It was actually fashioned in India by a family of craftsmen who have made jewelry worn by royals for hundreds of years.  Imperial families wore items like this to special dignitary functions and weddings.   Emerald drops are large and unusually clean.  Large Mohgul cut, natural diamonds are set throughout the piece.  It can even be worn on the reverse side to showcase the consumate, skilled enamelling of the goldsmith.  Wear it to a formal affair, then tuck it inside a crisp collared blouse for lunch the next day.  Beauty like this should not be saved for special ocassions.
