This painting, circa 1980s, is a colorful retrospective of works done around the turn of the 20th century. Kozlowski (often spelled Kozlosky), uses the oil medium in a masterful fashion on gessoed plywood. Male bathers seem almost "other worldly," similar to Manet's diners in "Luncheon on the Grass." The piece is truly iconic.
