Every blue moon, we find an unusual coin necklace. This one is terrific. It is multistrands of silver spaced with 19th century Indian Rupee coins. Though the piece is all silver, the finish is an antique gold wash, giving the necklace the look of something very ancient. It is "choker" length, almost 15 1/2." Wear it for casual or dare to wear it as an exotic formal accessory.

55" of intensely colored sapphires set in a solid platinum chain. Sapphires are blue, pink, orange, and yellow in color, faceted ovals. This necklace is actually two identical chains, complete with spring closures. You can choose to join them, double them over...or wear them individually. A platinum chain necklace like this one is indeed a rare find.

This 18" necklace is comprised of the richest golden South Sea pearls we have ever carried. The nacre is so deep that it creates incredible luster. The piece literally glows across a room! While their skin is not absolutely blemish free, the quality is unmistakable. Pearls range from 12-20mm in size. They are roundish in nature, with the largest pearl being rather elongated. Color matching is so important, and this strand is meticulously well matched. 18K yellow gold plunge clasp.

Estate Indian 22K Yellow Gold,Ruby, and Diamond Necklace. Two strands of polished rubies join a central medallion of diamonds and rubies set in 22K yellow gold. Two strands of rubies dangle from the medallion. The back of the medallion is enameled in greens, reds, and whites.

It is unusual to find a set like this in turquoise. Necklace is comprised of faces, perhaps of gods, and winged cherubs. Clusters of grapes drape off of necklace and earrings. This could represent Bacchus as the central figure's headress is comprised of grapes. Matching earrings are shepards hooks for pierced ears, approximately 2.5" in length by 1" wide at top. Necklace measures about 16" long. Circa 19th century

Estate 18K Yellow Gold, Emerald, Carved Coral, and Diamond Necklace measures approximately 18" long. Center medallion is a carved coral cameo of a cherub carrying an overflowing basket . The center coral piece is surrounded by bezel set emeralds. The oval segments are joined by bezel set diamonds.

Hollywood starlets clamor to find rare vintage necklaces like this one. It represents a genre of fine jewelry which is all but lost in modern times. Many have been stripped of their gems and unfortunately destroyed for modern creations. That is why a piece of Georgian jewelry (circa 1800) in fine condition garners attention and fetches a great deal of money. Here, traditional Belgian rose cut diamonds form intricate arrays of vines and flowers. It culminates in a long, pear shaped diamond drop. Refined metalsmithing of the time incorporated 18K yellow gold (the framework) and silver to mount the diamonds. The result is a colorful rich patina so fine it is difficult to put into words. Rare pendant from Venice, marked 18K. Cameo is carved from volcanic lava, and it shows age and light wear. Pendant is highly engraved in the manner of Venetian masters. Two fine, large, round pearls of about 5/8" diameter flank cameo, and they are nearly blemish free and cream in color. Two smaller pearls, above and below, show a textured nacre which was perhaps the artist's intent. Surrounding the cherubic cameo are eight fine, white full cut diamonds totalling slightly over 1.5 carats. Rolo style chain is about 30" in length. Pendant is 20th century, cameo appears older.

Rare, old Venetian, male cameo rests in ornate medallion surrounded by superb quality pearls and carved, intaglio disks. The delicate carvings depict perhaps former heads of state or Doges. Reverse side of medal is entirely engraved with Winged Lion of St Mark (symbolizing Venice) ornamenting the center. Matching chain has delicate rope treatment which mimics bezel design in pendant. Circa 19th Century
