Shannon Koszyk Sterling Silver and Bronze Patris Necklace measures approximately 44" long
Shannon Koszyk's distinctive jewelry is handcrafted in her Seattle studio. She uses semi-precious stones, gemstones, fresh water pearls, and features sterling silver, bronze, and bronze cast medals. She finds inspiration in the European tradition. Quality and history are vital in her designs, and an integral part of her love for all things vintage. She loves the contrast of luxury and grit. She incorporates a contemporary twist on religious symbolism and are meant to unite and encourage a cross cultural experience for all of color, creed, sex, age, and religion.
She studied at the Fashion Institute in LA. While interning with ELLE magazine she realized she wanted to be more hands on in the fashion world. She found some vintage medals in the Paris flea market, and the rest is history. Her designs can be seen on top Hollywood stars, in magazine editorials, and in high end boutiques across North America. She has been published in ELLE, Rolling Stone, LA Times and more.
