French Revival Demilune/Pier Table. Classic lines and traditional French finish describe this oppulent pier table. Revival pieces like these are swept up by decorators for their ease of placement into so many schemes. Old gray paint and exposed gold leaf make it a cinch for shabby chic. Elegant drapery and architectural details make it a must have.

Antique Primitive Green Pine Table with Cross membered legs. Perfect as an island in a small kitchen, or as a touch of rustic color in a large one, this special table has a myriad of uses. It's height would make it ideal for a writing table as well. Shrinkage details let the savvy inspector know it definitely has age, perhaps late 19th century to early 20th. Construction is sound with hand made mortise and tenon joints and rabbited crossmembers. The photo depicts a slightly stronger lime color than up close and personal. Tapered spade feet give it real American country status. Wonderful for a shabby chic interior.

Vintage Set of (4) Antique Reproduction Display Pedestal Bases (shown with bronze cherubs set). Whether you purchase our group of (4) bronze cherubs, or not, this set of display bases would be so nice to display sculptures you already own or plan to own. They're very strong and ready to support considerable weight, be it marble, bronze, stone, etc. Each was meticulously made with wood and masonite, and they are finished with neutral shades of paint, then decorated with gesso and parcel gilding. They've been well worn, but in just the right way...appearing as if they've been stored in some European treasure trove. Not terribly old, but they are showcased in our antiques section for that very reason!

The burled walnut wood top and apron are intact, which is uncommon of fine older veneers. The secondary wood (drawer) is mahogany. It is the perfect addition to a foyer, an upstairs hall, or even at bedside.

Everything is splendidly intact, with the obligatory loss of gesso here and there. Cherish it for generations to come.

Antique Belle Epoque Period Inlaid Wood Commode Chest. With antiques and collectables, sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs. Well, this charming commode is definitely that one handsome prince! It probably originated in Italy around 1910. The inlay incorporates mixed fine hardwoods and dore'ed bronze ormolus. The details are remarkable and the lustre of the woods makes it one of the loveliest pieces we offer.
Approximate dimensions: 38.5" wide by 18" deep by 33" tall

Antique 19thC Black Forest Pedestal Table Some pieces of furniture are beyond description, but we will try. This stunner was created in Switzerland with craftsmanship which is almost defunct in today's world. The wood is oak. It is heavily carved with "faux bois" forest leaves and gnarly branches on the pedestal; hairy paw feet serve to support the tripod. Use it in an elegant foyer, beside a bed--any spot that longs for a real treasure. Although the piece is quite old, it's state of repair is excellent, no serious finish mars or wobbles. This is a testament to a fantastic woodworker.

A rare example of intact 19th century continental decor. This table would make an ideal complement to the most oppulent of foyers. It features a neutral-toned spiraled undercarriage, strong enough to support a marble or granite top if desired (note: faux painting on top is very distressed--otherwise is fine condition). One might even consider this piece as a grand desk! Whatever the application, it is spendid.
Dimensions: approximately 50" wide by 34 1/4" deep by 29 1/4" tall.
