Love Heals is the mother, son and daughter team of Adriana, Gunnar and Elisa. They handcraft all of their jewelry in a workshop nestled in the golden hills of Ojai, California. Many adventures and much hard work have brought them to Ojai. Adriana fled a dangerous military dictatorship in Argentina as a young woman, escaping to London, where she began supporting herself as a jewelry artist, selling her work in Portobello Rd. Adriana's roaming, gypsy spirit took her all over Europe, eventually settling in Ibiza, Spain, where she gave birth to her son Gunnar in a 400 year-old farm house with no electricity or running water. In 1979, the family relocated to Santa Barbara, California, where she launched her American career. Little Elisa was born in Ojai. In the last ten years Gunnar and Elisa have joined their mother to help nurture the creative and spiritual endeavor that is the unique vision of Love Heals.

Love Heals plants 10 food-bearing trees for each piece sold, with over 404,212 trees planted to date.

ABOUT PAMELA FROMAN:
The award-winning "Pamela Froman Fine Jewelry Collection" features handmade pieces comprised of multiple colors of precious metals and exquisite, rare natural stones. Originality and meticulous attention to every detail are hallmarks of Pamela's signature look; because each item is handmade, no two will ever be identical, even if they are similar in design. This one-of-a-kind, limited edition jewelry is as hip as it is timeless, transcending every generation and age, and specially crafted so that it may be treasured for years to come.

Born and raised in Manhattan by her mother, Ann Froman the well-known sculptor and designer, Pamela graduated from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and subsequently moved to Europe, where she settled in Paris and began designing jewelry for the top couturier salons, including Courreges, Cacharel, Carita, Guy Larouche, and Valentino. As much as she enjoyed the challenge of creating for preeminent designers, Pamela needed to forge her own artistic path. Pamela Froman's creations combine classic European design elements with her own unique sensibility. "I love irregular surfaces," the designer explains, "so most of my Collection is textured with a special hand-hammering technique. In fact, the cornerstone of my first line was The Mina Ring, a Crushed Ring of Platinum and 18k yellow gold with diamonds, that was designed for an actress who wanted something distinctive and elegant."

The initial Pamela Froman Fine Jewelry Collection made its debut at the 2006 JCK Show in Las Vegas, where Pamela was awarded the promising title of Rising Star. In 2008, she was identified as one of the 10 Best New Jewelry Designers by InDesign Magazine, and was thrilled to be presented with the prestigious Town & Country Couture Design Award for Best of Gold (an award often referred to as the 'Oscar of the jewelry industry!') The award-winning quality of her designs continues to be recognized in 2009: Pamela was honored at the 25th Annual Spectrum Awards Gala with a Consumer's Choice Award for her one-of-a-kind 'Pearl Mlange' lariat necklace; her one-of-a-kind "Sentimental Crush" Locket won a 2009 MJSA Vision Award; and she was just presented with another Couture Design Award, this time for Best of Bridal! She has also been nominated for the WJA Award for Excellence in Design!

Pamela feels strongly that individuality is the underlying theme of beauty. "I believe that the more a piece is worn the more beautiful it is because it becomes part of the person's essence. Two people can wear the same piece and it will have a different look or give off a different aura. My mission is to create handmade jewelry of the highest quality; therefore, each piece is thoughtfully designed with 22k, Platinum, or an array of different colored 18k gold, so that everything from the cut, the color, and even the clarity of the stones flow seamlessly to complement the overall look of the design. I like to think that if my jewelry were someday discovered in an old buried treasure chest, it would stand the test of time, much like the antiquities of the great civilizations do today."

Dubbed "The Golden Girl" by W Jewelry Magazine, Pamela Froman's creations have also appeared in the pages of The Robb Report, Town & Country Magazine, Inside Weddings, Lucky, Self, and Bride's Magazine, and Lark Book's 500 Wedding Rings and 500 Gemstone Jewels, to name a few; her designs have also graced the covers of prominent industry publications: Modern Jeweler, InDesign, and Jewellery Business Magazine. In addition to print, Pamela Froman Fine Jewelry has been featured on television shows such as Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model and the new Stylista, as well as adorning the sexy stars of NBC's Las Vegas: Vanessa Marcil, Cheryl Ladd, and Molly Sims. Other celebrities who have a crush on Pamela's unique style, include: Halle Berry, Diane Lane, Debra Messing, Meredith Brooks, Whoopi Goldberg, Norah Jones, and Eva Mendes.

Pamela and her husband, photographer Jay Lawrence Goldman, have created a studio oasis which they share -- a sanctuary within the city. It is filled with natural light, and decorated with fountains, plants, an aviary of exotic finches, doves and canaries, and an area for their young son to play. Pamela feels, 'each piece of my jewelry is an expression from my soul,' but considers her most precious creation to be her son, Hudson Elijah, born December 2004. Becoming a mother has even inspired some of her designs, most notably the beautifully versatile 'Mommy Earrings'! The family resides in Santa Monica, California.

IRIT DESIGN

After 20 years of designing black-tie gowns and wedding dresses for well-heeled denizens of Southern California, Irit Ehrlich started to produce jewelry that somehow married a weighty Edwardian feel with a California casual vibe. The result was stacks of stretch bracelets strung with turquoise and tourmaline stones. Ehrlich would mix her own bracelets with diamond bangles on her wrists, a combination that garnered plenty of attention from friends who were attracted to the colorful mash-up of high-end and semi-precious stones.

'My vibe was always to combine old and new, not be traditional or conventional,' says Ehrlich, who began selling her bracelets to friends nine years ago and quickly expanded her materials to include diamonds.

She keeps that heavy Edwardian look in the line by using recycled silver that is oxidized to give the metal a rough patina that is vaguely reminiscent of knight's armor. The mix of oxidized silver and diamonds, she says, 'took on an almost primitive and vintage feel.'

The silver is often combined with rose or full-cut diamonds and occasionally with coins that were salvaged from a Spanish shipwreck -- a signature element of Ehrlich's line that has attracted celebrities such as Amy Adams, Courteney Cox, Halle Berry and most recently, Michelle Obama.

CHURCHILL invites you to view the extraordinary jewelry designs of Jemma Wynne. The vision of Jemma Wynne is to create versatile jewelry for women who desire a sphisticated look, while still maintaining a casual ease. Jemma Wynne, Inc. defines its design aesthetic as the 'cashmere hoodie' of jewelry for women... rich, but comfortable. They bring this point of view to life with a fresh approach, using the finest gemstones, vibrant color palettes, and exquisite workmanship.

Jemma Wynne, Inc. creates rich chromatic palettes using black and white diamonds, luscious tourmalines, sapphires, and semi-precious stones, to produce a modern collection of lasting luxury. The juxtaposition of precious gemstones and 'ready to wear' sensibility results in a jewelry collection that is elegantly classic and chic. They believe that a woman's jewelry should always be something treasured and relevant. Jemma Wynne jewelry is the perfect way to enjoy luxury without ever being overdone.

ABOUT JEMMA WYNNE:
Passion and creativity were the driving forces that brought Stephanie Wynne and Jenny Klatt together to launch Jemma Wynne in 2008. Using the finest quality precious and semiprecious stones and distinct 18kt green gold, the designers spin a sophisticated and chic sensibility into innovative shapes and styles. The design duo combines classic polish with relaxed femininity to create their fine jewelry collection.

Stephanie and Jenny each developed their personal aesthetics as children taking inspiration from family and travel. Jenny began to seriously explore her love for painting and art history while studying at the University of Pennsylvania. It was her passion for design that eventually landed Jenny in London, where she traveled extensively throughout Europe, expanding her creative horizons and soaking in the works of great artists and architects. Upon her return, Jenny began designing intricately detailed mosaic art, tiled furniture and jewelry. Soon after, Jenny honed her skills and turned her hobby into a successful, growing business.

Stephanie too was working to cultivate her interest in art and the various means of sophisticated design expression. As a student of graphic design at American University, Stephanie discovered a small bead store in Washington, D.C. where she found inspiration for her early pieces of jewelry. Stephanie began to create unique custom pieces that soon gained the attention of others and sparked her entrepreneurial spirit. Soon thereafter, Stephanies collection began selling in local stores throughout New York and New Jersey.

Jenny and Stephanies paths crossed in 2005 while working together in NYC at Judith Ripka. It was there they realized their shared design philosophy and began to forge a collaboration that would ultimately become Jemma Wynne.

Together, Jenny and Stephanie breathe fresh life into precious jewels by adding their unique perspective and unexpected detail in all of their creations. Today, Jemma Wynne can boast a growing roster of celebrity fans including Jessica Biel, Mariska Hargitay, Kristen Bell, Courtney Cox, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Julianne Hough and Olivia Palermo. TRUNK SHOW
CHURCHILL INVITES YOU TO MEET EXTRAORDINARY
JEWELRY DESIGNER NAM CHO!!!
Nam's jewelry fuses the chic simplicity of modern luxury with the sumptuous elegance of the past.
Nam Cho Bio:

Nam Cho was born in Seoul, raised in Tokyo and Los Angeles, and she currently resides in New York.

Nam believes modern fine jewelry must be luxurious, classic and timeless (and a good investment) but also young, exciting and fresh. Jewelry should make the wearer feel effortlessly glamorous and beautiful, but also chic, whether she's in a day suit or evening gown. In a recent interview in Womens Wear Daily, Nam explained, Jewelry that bridges the ready-to-wear with fine jewelry is missing from the market. I needed to design something that bridges the gap.

Nams fine jewelry is worn by Eva Longoria, Oprah Winfrey, Debra Messing and other celebrities and has been featured in Town & Country, In Style, Cosmopolitan, W, Allure, Celebrity Living, Latin Vogue and others.

Nam had early training in classical violin and the fine arts. Her mother, an accomplished painter, designer and collector, encouraged Nams exuberant creative talent. Her father, a banking executive, shared his knowledge of international business. Her love for design and beauty lead her to New York.

Upon graduating from the prestigious Parsons School of Design with two Gold Thimble awards, Nam entered the fast and exciting world of fashion. She designed for top American designers Narciso Rodriguez, Richard Tyler, Patrick Robinson and others, and she honed her creative skills in ready-to-wear and accessories.

After a few years, seeking a greater challenge, Nam moved to management to capitalize on her innate understanding of womens fashion trends. Nam took charge of the company's international finance, marketing, merchandising, and product management. She was then promoted to Vice President of the US and International divisions.

With a wider perspective, Nam, who had long felt a lack of intimacy between fine jewelry and fashion, decided to start her own jewelry company. She had noticed that many impeccably dressed women, with up-to-date knowledge of fashion and clothing, accessorized with jewelry that did not coordinate in style or quality. Nam would sometimes find herself sketching appropriate jewelry for these women. This close experience catapulted Nam into top status as an internationally acclaimed designer.

Churchill has been named one of America's Coolest Stores by INSTORE, the magazine for the American jewelry store owner. The Fairway, KS, business took third place in the Small Cool division for stores with five or fewer full-time employees.

A total of 111 stores entered the ninth annual contest that highlights the best examples of independent jewelry retailers in North America.

"Every year we feel privileged to bring our readers the best of the best in our industry," said Ralf Kircher, INSTORE's executive editor. "From its marketing to its merchandising, Churchill easily falls into that category. Everything about the store is like a treasure waiting to be discovered."

Stores are judged in exterior appearance, interior appearance, store biography, advertising, website and overall individuality.

"Wow! When you go into Churchill, you've got to feel like you just walked into a jewelry treasure trove," said Patti David, one of the industry-based judges and co-owner of Zoltan David of Bee Cave, TX, winner of the 2009 Coolest Small Store. "Her eclectic assortment and beautiful ornate surroundings would make you feel like you can't leave until you've seen everything."

The top five winners in the two divisions are given trophies and featured in the August issue of INSTORE and at instoremag.com.

ABOUT EMILY ARMENTA:
A beautiful young woman in her twenties, Emily was driven to express her vivid imagination since she was a child. With wild success at Bergdorf's and Neiman's, Emily has created quite a stir in the design world. So much so, in fact, that supplying the incredible demand for her jewelry has proven challenging indeed. Lucky for us, and especially for CHURCHILL, we are featuring a veritable treasure trove from which to choose.
Noted for her use of 18K yellow gold and "midnight" oxidized silver, Emily has supplied us with a stunning array of rings, pendants chains and bangles. Perhaps almost as exciting as her designs themselves is how easily they travel from casual to dress and combine with other designers' pieces in yellow gold, white gold and sterling silver. Another terrific thing about Armenta is the price point. Although Emily designs for the famous with devotees like Halle Berry, she keeps prices very affordable and always hand-made, a difficult combination to find today.
So join us this October 30th to meet Emily's representative and experience these extraordinary creations. Don't miss our Halloween treats from Dean and Deluca and cocktails from 4-6PM.

Hello CHURCHILL Friends,

We have had so much fun exhibiting current designs from some of today's best jewelry designers at our One-of-a-Kind Night Thursday trunk shows. We can't thank you enough for supporting these shows!

This Thursday we take a trip down memory lane with a nod to the estate jewelry designs of yesteryear. These designs are commonly the inspiration for today's top jewelry designers as seen in Erickson Beamon's Tiara Collection, Erica Courtney's work, and in Emily Armenta's jewelry which you can see Dec 4th thru the 6th.

Last week we were excited to have Mike Jerrick of the "Mike and Juliet" morning show visit the store. We'll be forwarding pictures of Chris with Mike soon! (www.mandjshow.com)

As we head into this week prior to Thanksgiving, and sentiments arise about family and heritage, come see the jewelry that our grandparents and great grandparents could have worn. The almost forgotten art of their workmanship and hand detailing on these pieces should be remembered and honored by all of us.

We will be serving Chris' favorite concoction of champagne and strawberry juice during the Thursday night reception.

If you can't make it to the show, remember we are posting all the trunk shows on our website, www.ShopAtChurchill.com. And from the entire staff at Churchill we wish you the happiest of Thanksgivings!

All the Best,

Sally, Chris, Missy, Lisa, Abby, Elizabeth, Dana, and Chester

So, Erica Courtney's appearance is just one of the fabulous "one of a kind nights" CHURCHILL has planned for the fall. Every Thursday night we are having cocktails and visiting jewelry collections of our most unique designers. Here is a small sample of items to drool over.

Now onto other events that CHURCHILL is supporting. We can't wait to go to the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art's FLIP Gala on Sat., Oct.11th. You can go to their website www.kempergala.com to read about the event. I just had the patron's party at my home where they introduced the Fliptini, a delicious concoction of Cooranbong vodka (www.cooranbong.com Australia's first premier vodka), tangerine nectar, triple sec,and fresh lime. Needless to say a good time was had by all, and everyone arrived home safely afterwards!! There will be a drawing for three Tiffany Frank Gehry vases at the event. I have been on this committee since it's inception and it's always one of the most fun parties. This year they are having Quixotic, a troupe of performance artists of firedancers, trapeze/aerilists, musicians and dancers(hence the Flip theme) and the Zeros playing who are the ultimate new wave band. You can buy tickets online, at the door, or over the phone (816) 457-6128.
Brand new arrival of Pauric Sweeney purses that are to die for. I think they are his best yet.
