Antiques from the reign of George I of England are very rare. This particular king ruled for a very short time(13 years), thus pieces that strictly came from that time are scarce. It has been lovingly restored, but the finish is not new by any means. Two chests of "two over three" drawers nestle perfectly together. The older brasses suit the piece well, too.
