Fine example of an Edwardian portrait brooch. High quality greyish white seed pearls alternate with single-cut diamonds to surround the bezel of portrait. Detailed painting is either done on fired porcelain or ivory. Pin is close backed and also of 18K yellow gold. Circa 1910
