BIO The inspiration for Lauras sculptural yet natural jewelry design began when she was a child growing up in Houston, Texas. The youngest of 5 children, she quickly developed her creativity alongside the many architects and artists that made up her large family. Her mothers keen sense of fashion encouraged laura to develop her own style outside of the trends. Laura attended the University of Mississippi in 1991 but soon transferred to the Memphis College of Art to study metalsmithing. In 1998, after briefly working for the renowned metal sculptor Thomas Mann, Laura founded her own company. Her handmade jewelry evokes the passion of Lauras life, from the natural wonders of the locust shell or freshly cut grass to the memories of her parents who continue to be her source of strength and drive.
