These earrings from Talisman Unlimited are perhaps the most labor intensive that we carry. Keshi pearls are tiny non-nucleated (natural) pearls harvested after the first round of pearl growing has already been completed. The result is a small irregular shaped pearl of 100% nacre (lustrous material coating on pearls). Each one is carefully drilled, threaded with gold wire and attached to the central gold core. After hundreds of these are in place, the final product is joined to a hand hammered earwire element. The result is amazing to wear, even to touch.... And, NO, they're not too heavy. They are made to wear for hours comfortably.
